Sarah has more than 20 years experience managing technically innovative projects & clinical trials within SMEs/Start-ups and Academic Research.

Che has over 20 years of experience in extracellular matrix biology and is currently a Professor of Tissue Engineering at Newcastle University. He is a seasoned entrepreneur having successfully raised finance for 3 biotech spin-out companies. Che is also Managing Director of BSF Enterprise PLC a London Stock Exchange listed company that wholly owns 3D Bio-Tissues, Kerato and Lab Grown Leather.

Ricardo is a scientist with expertise in Biochemistry, Biotechnology and Bioengineering. With almost 20 years of research experience in stem cell biology and tissue biofabrication, a considerable publication record, and recipient of several accolades, his work represents the foundation of many of 3D Bio-Tissue and Kerato’s proprietary technologies.
He works closely with the Kerato team on an ongoing basis to provide scientific advice and mentorship.

Miguel is a cell biologist with a long career in the eye field. Miguel spent more than twenty years studying the different signalling pathways used by cornea, lens and retina cells to proliferate and differentiate during normal eye development. But also to learn how these pathways are altered during pathological conditions. Miguel is responsible for scaling up tissue production, particularly interested in understanding the technical regulatory framework required to release the final 3D Bio-Tissues products to the market.

As 3DBT's Head of Manufacturing, Miguel offers insights into manufacturing and manufacturing scale-up of Kerato's corneal tissue products, and provides ongoing scientific advice.
